music that reconjures how stories are told through live, experiential, and digital performance.
Paul Castles is an Australian-American composer from Sydney.
Underpinned by a passion for collaboration and defined by the meeting of the ancient and modern, his work is centred on human stories that bridge the real world and the unknown.
Paul’s music has been seen across North America, Africa, Europe, East Asia, and Australia and includes the award-winning musical The Fountain with Namoo Chae Lee; Repast, a series of interactive musical installations about the interconnectedness of nature and memory; and The Percipients, a mixed reality exploration of the Bigfoot phenomenon with Sibyl Kempson.
